Kansas State University – Bramlage Coliseum
This panorama, photographed by Christopher Gjevre, features the Kansas State University Wildcats basketball team playing to a sold out crowd at Bramlage Coliseum. Bramlage Coliseum opened in 1988 and is home to both the men’s and women’s basketball teams, with seating for 12,528 fans. Named after former graduate and financial contributor Fred Bramlage, the arena was built to replace Ahearn Field House. The Wildcats basketball program began in 1902, has a long history of success, and is part of the Big 12 Conference. The University was founded in 1863 in Manhattan, Kansas, and today educates nearly 24,000 students.
Bring your wall alive with the thrill and excitement of Rivalry night at The Octagon of Doom! A spectacular, rare print you’ll likely never see in stores, shot during the January 30, 2010 nationally-televised grudge match against the hated Jayhawks – the first time since 1958 that the teams faced off against each other while both ranked in the top-15. The purple-packed intensity just oozes out of this dynamic panorama! Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector’s item for years to come.
